Kids Hockey School

The hockey school will feature both on-ice and off-ice training, as well as off-ice sports. The coaching staff will teach fundamentals and team concepts, while stressing hard work, fair play and fun. Head coaches for the school are Joel Irwin of Kamloops, and Ole Kjenstad and Jeff Mayer, both of Clearwater. About two-thirds of the school attendees will be from Clearwater, with the balance made up of out-of-town young people. The hockey school programs range in price from $125 to $175.

 

Programs:

 

1) Half day for children four and five years of age

 

2) Full day program for children aged six to eight, one for ages nine and 10, and one for ages 11 and older.

 

3) There will be girls only sessions as well if registration allows.

 

A discount is offered through the “Buddy Program” which provides that if a young player registers with a friend, prior to August 1, both get to deduct $25 from their registration fee. Method of Payment: You can pay on the first day of the hockey school, drop cheques off at the sportsplex,or mail them to:

Sept. 6 – 12 – Featuring World Famous instructor Willa Brooks 5 sessions over 7 days plus 5 more sessions over the next 3 months, only $125. Call the Sportsplex @ 674 2143 to register.
